Shannon’s Pick: Ozark

Where to watch: Netflix, Hulu

Genre: Drama

In a time where we are stuck inside looking at the same lovely faces every day, it is great to know that our friend Netflix knows exactly what I need to escape. Ozark is packed with lots of dark humor, excitement and corruption. In my opinion, each season is better than the last, so I encourage you to give it a fighting chance. If anything, Ruth’s crude, passive-aggressive character will entertain you along the way. Warning: If you are someone that enjoys movies with singing, dancing and frolicking in a field of daisies, this show is not for you. Also, if you do not want your children learning a new set of vocabulary words, it is best to keep them clear of this show too. Enjoy!
